Shingle Springs Monument Sign

Since 2012, the Shingle Springs Community Alliance (SSCA) has proudly embraced the image of a majestic oak tree and a horse to reflect the rich rural character of our community. These symbols speak to the deep roots and quiet strength of Shingle Springs—where rolling pastures, winding country roads, and a slower pace of life still thrive.
As the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce describes it, our town began as a bustling gold rush settlement and has since grown into “a peaceful country community with ranches and homes on acreage.” That legacy is worth celebrating—and preserving.
In honor of this heritage, the SSCA is leading a heartfelt effort to install a "Welcome to Shingle Springs" sign at the southeast corner of the Ponderosa Road and Mother Lode Drive intersection. This sign will be crafted from fabricated aluminum with a stone base and proudly feature our iconic oak tree and horse, warmly greeting residents and visitors alike as they enter our special corner of El Dorado County.
We invite you to be part of this meaningful project. Every donation, large or small, helps us bring this symbol of community pride to life.
