YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL ENABLE US TO:
- Introduce the world’s greatest poetry to high school students, instilling confidence as they learn public speaking skills.
- Offer the restorative power of creative endeavor to El Dorado County veterans.
- Present unique and engaging exhibitions that celebrate the heritage and treasures of El Dorado County.
- Bestow the honor of Poet Laureate on a locally recognized poet.
- Build cultural connectivity between South Lake Tahoe and the Western Slope.
- Advocate for local projects, and for continued funding for the arts across the region.
- Present engaging talks and public events in conjunction with gallery exhibitions, along with other special events that connect people to arts and culture around the county.
- Distribute information about upcoming cultural happenings, and act as a “help desk” for all kinds of arts inquiries.
- Serve as the local partner to the California Arts Council, advancing California through arts and creativity.
- Develop special initiatives which serve El Dorado County’s residents, visitors, young people and families, artists and artisans, and bring people together to build community.
