Public Art in the Meyers Roundabouts: We want your input

The roundabouts in Meyers on the way into South Lake Tahoe present a unique opportunity for permanent public art that reflects the spirit and heritage of our community. This project is being led by Arts and Culture El Dorado, in partnership with El Dorado County and Caltrans. It will be privately funded and based on the success of a dedicated fundraising effort.

Our goal is to create art that welcomes residents and visitors while honoring Meyers’ natural landscape, local stories, and the Indigenous heritage of the Washoe people, on whose ancestral lands this project will be located.

Please take a few moments to share your thoughts. The results of the survey will be shared with artists who may wish to submit a proposal.
