The American River has played a significant role in the culture and development of the rafting and kayaking community for decades. From June 26 to August 3, 2025, Switchboard Gallery will showcase a new exhibition featuring the culture of the whitewater community of El Dorado County, with an opening reception on Thursday, June 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The exhibition will feature a wide range of vintage and contemporary photographs, films, and historically relevant ephemera that has played a part in the story of our local rivers, creeks, and waterways.
