Our local schools and libraries struggle to fund arts and music programs. With your support, author and musician, Mark Pennington, brings “The Gold Rush Musical” to our children and community. This live musical performance and historically-based play features sing-along Gold Rush songs, storytelling, and humor. Students accompany Mark with rhythm instruments and serve as actors in the play. In a culminating songwriting workshop, students craft their own Gold Rush song, which is recorded as a song video.
