Sandy Lindblad, a Grass Valley contemporary animal portrait artist, has a unique style between impressionism/expressionism. Her creative art specializing in animals is created with passion, in a colorful, expressionistic manners, catching the feeling of cats, dogs, horses and other subjects in her paintings especially when creating a commission. Using pastels and acrylics, Sandy enjoys seeing them come alive on canvas or board. Her goal is to catch an “impression” of the animals and scenes that she paints.
