Laureate Trail allows the public to join the El Dorado County Poet Laureate on a literary tour of the county. The Laureate is joined by local poets, Poetry Out Loud winners and special guests at El Dorado County Libraries in each district in the county for free poetry readings and events.
All events are free to the public.

On Wednesday, July 31, the Laureate Trail stopped at the Georgetown library where El Dorado County Poet Laureate Stephen Meadows lead a poetry writing workshop and gave poetry readings.

Lara Gularte's Laureate Trail Stops: 2022 - 2023
On Saturday, April 29, Lara Gularte’s Laureate Trail made its final stop at the Placerville library where El Dorado County Poet Laureate Lara Gularte lead a poetry writing workshop and gave poetry readings, and was joined by local poets as well as the 2023 Poetry Out Loud finalists for El Dorado County.
